By day it's just another busy area in Kowloon. But after 4pm, when the barricades come up, Sai Yeung Choi and Tung Choi Streets are transformed into a pedestrian wonderland. For block after block, the road is thick with people shopping, chatting, eating, and watching street performances. It's like a daily street party and the guests just keep on coming.

At the corner of Nelson Street, you'll find a computer mall — a typical Asian-style IT complex full of tiny shops each with its own collection of gadgets. There's also a wide variety of food, particularly towards the Dundas Street end of the pedestrian area.

Getting there

Take the MTR to Mong Kok station and use the Argyle Street exit.
