One of New York's most famous landmarks, the Brooklyn Bridge is also a great spot for getting panoramic views of the rest of the city. There's a dedicated pedestrian/cycle path above the roadway, so you can dawdle and gawk to your heart's content.

Getting there

The Manhattan end of the bridge is just two minutes' walk from both the Brooklyn Bridge–City Hall and Chambers St–Brooklyn Bridge subway stations.
